Tired Of The Summer Haze?

Get Ready For An A-"Mazing" Fall.

Goold Orchards announces the opening of the corn maze. Some say the maze is home to the elusive Gooldielocks, who designed the maze as her new home.

Gooldielocks was last sighted at the Halloween party at Goold Orchards, where she passed out apples and cider doughnuts. With long blonde hair and golden skin, you'll know her if you see her! Although she is hard to find, Gooldie stays in touch with the rest of the farm by leaving notes under rocks. You can see one of Gooldie's gold-flecked rocks at the entrance to the maze. Legend has it there is a "Goold" mine on the farm where these rocks are mined by Gooldie and her animal friends. Gooldie traces her family back to the Native Americans and the original Dutch and English settlers in our area. A friend to all the animals of the forest and farm, you can sometimes hear the local red tailed hawks screeching "Gooldie, Gooldie, come here, come here" as they fly over the farm. Her special friends are the buffalo at nearby GEM Farms in South Schodack.

Come out and listen for Gooldie's ancient lullaby as you navigate the maize maze at Goold Orchards. Take I-90 to Exit 11 to Rts. 9 & 20 east and follow the signs to Goold Orchards. The Maze is open 7 days a week from 9AM to 4 PM. . For more information call 732-7317.
